Commission, this time for :iconfullmoonstar: =D
I don’t think the other knew that each had commissioned these so I wanted to upload them together… which is why it’s been so long between uploads. ^^;

I hope this is alright, it was a real challenge to get everything you requested in.. and I almost forgot the rain altogether… ^^; This turned out nothing like how I imagined though, I had a much less original idea to almost have the picture in two half’s, a forest on one and the fields on the other, with the characters huddling in the middle.. but I think this way gave it much more feeling, so I’m really pleased. =D

There was probably other things I wanted to draw attention too, but I’m blowed to what they are now.

Edit: Dulled down the charaters a tad, better? ^^
Edit 2: More dulling and I finally remembered to add the black tip to Torheit's tail! xD

This is a very lovely piece indeed! Excellent work on the background it looks like a lovely painting people would hang on their wall or do a jigsaw puzzle of. The pastel like colors give a beautiful peaceful gloom with the darkening and storm clouds, its something I really enjoy and is just well blended.
I am curios if you did the rain drops ‘by hand’(ie mouse, tablet, etc) or used a pre-made brush?
The only thing I’d point out and this is just an opinion; I think you should shadow the characters more as they seem to stick out as a much lighter part of the image, they don’t blend into the background to well, but then that could be what you intended in which case never mind ^^

O my~~ *looool* We really didn't know what each other requested *lol* ^^; So that's kinda creepy

But the drawing is awwwwwwwww! You're such a multi-talented person~~ You can give traditional art awesome effects and digital drawings as well ^^;
Their expessions are awesome :3 especially Torheit's ;__;
And the anatomics are perfect! I love that pose, that Torheit cuddles up to Moony, so cute!
Oh dear, that's such an awesome atmosphere here! Sad and sheltered at once.
The background looks so realistic and detailed and the colors really fit to the lights, it's awesome!

I hope, Moony gets Internet soon, so he can see your drawings (Or I'll show them to him, when he visits me)! I'm sure this'll make him happy for the next months :XD:

Aww.. I thought it was really cute so I wanted to keep it a supprise. xD

Thank you, :blush: I think it is many years of painting that does it because I really don't know how to use all the effects in photoshop so I just treat it like I would paper.. only I don't have to worry about making a mistake so I don't hold back (Really I want to do more traditional painting so that I can lose this kind of fear I have with it. ^^;).
I was inspired by how my cat and dog used to cuddle up together for the pose, they used to do that and then the dog would start nibbling the back (then Cheops would stick his head into Sauron's ear. xD) It was such contenment. :heart:

Oh is that were he's gone? I was begining to wonder. :XD:

Yeah, he moved away from home. They say He would get internet at the beginning of september, but that's a quite improper imformation ^^; I hoped it would arrive this week, but it doesn't seem so yet~~
