Dark Forest Stroll

Finally! Some colour back in my gallery!

Commision for =WhiteWingedDemon of her characters Zenin and Hehtu.

I had some trouble getting the shades right with this, Zenin’s part vampire so it had to be very dark but I wanted to add some colour to the ground. I think I got it right in the end, but it took a lot of washes. ^^ The forest is supposed to be dark and old, the light is mostly trapped by the canopy far above and what little does filter through only adds to the gloom. The ground is slightly damp, giving rise to a carpet of moss and liverworts, speckled with the occasional mushroom... and what would an ancient forest be without bracket fungus? <3 (Sorry not leaves… I suck at leaves )

Fixed the join and the colours are closer to the orginal now ^^
